Hey guys,
This is my first post, and I'm new to your site, but after reading a few threads, yall look like some of you know what your talkin 'bout. Now if the info I'm lookin for is somewhere else, maybe i can kindlyask you to direct me there. Now heres my delema: A few months ago I had a missfire on #6 cylinder on my 97 GTP GP, after replacing everything in the ignition system, I finally did replace the injector and had the remaining ones cleaned and flowed. I also took the blower off and had Stiegemeier's rebuild it, and port it. The car also had a weak battery so I replaced it with another Optima red top ( the one that was in it was 8 years old). When I got it all back together, no check engine light, but my TCS light and tire pressure lights are on. I was going to have a guy tune it, but he said that I had a bad BCM. My question is: do I have a bad BCM? Where is it located exactly? What is involved in changing it out? what years can I use to replace it? Your help would be deeply appreciated.![]()
Sorry, I think I posted this in the wrong place the first time. Newby
