This weekend I finished up my HID Fogs, hellova combo. I currently have....

-WBS HID 9007 Headlights w/ harness and Hi/Low Beams and there 6000k.
-WBS hid 880 Fog light Kit w/ harness and there 6000k

Best money I ever spent, they look great, wish I could get pics. My light finally match perfectly and there super bright.

Great mod for those interested in doing it...

My kits are from WBS. I don't know what blubs they were but the ballasts were Xenon IIRC.

The problem is, is that all the kit peddlers hide the actual photos of the bulbs they sell. Notice the stock photo on their site? They intentionally left the bulb protectors in place so you don't know what you're getting.

You pretty much have 4 choices for the 9007:

9007-1: Single arc burner, fixed position, no high beams.
9007-2: Same as above, but poorly located halogen high beam bulb that is pretty much useless due to it's positioning.
9007-3: Single burner, but it moves to attempt to place the arc in the high position. Telescopic or retracting bulbs are junk. The 9007 requires a TILTING tube.
Bi-Xenon: Dual discharge burners, the high beam position is out of place, thus rendering it useless as well.
    The GPs are long gone...

Well I got the HID Fogs at 6000K (886) and the HID wiring harness to the battery for about 90 bucks off eBay. I am now in the process of getting the HID wiring harness and matching 9006 HID's for my Caddy and I'll be all set... Pending how well this set works, I'll probably upgrade the Daytona with the same system (Using 9007 and 880 lamps ). I'm also debating if I should just wait til Spyder Auto releases the '97-'03 One piece G.P. projector headlights......

    1. you might be waiting till infinity to stop.

    2. the projectors they're making likely wont fit hid bulbs...

They will work when you add the HID harness that runs directly to the battery and utilizes a relay... That's the best and probably ONLY way you should be doing it......

Yeah, If you dont want the harness, a $3 relay, and about 10 foot of wire, and some crimp connectors, you can make your own.

So Iron Indian..... What year do you have, I have a grand prix 2005,,, Am i to use the same as what you have? I want the 8000k just a little blue, and I want the fogs also,, should the fogs be 6000 so that they are a little brighter? just curious... and I think i am going to order the top notch that ebay has for 149.00

With a 04'+ grand prix, you need two bulbs, 9005 and 9006 I think, one for High and one for low, 8000k is alot of blue, but if that is what you want go for it, and most ebay kits no-matter the price are the same, might as well go cheap
