Bearings in the tensioner pulley keep going bad.
The bearings went out in the tensioner pulley on 40th Anniversary GT. And the 3rd pulley that I put on in the past year is now making noise.
The original pulley went bad 1 year ago. Unfortunately, I was on the road and the belt came off. I had to get it towed home.
I had a used L67 in my garage and I took that pulley off, and put it on the 40th.
Then, that one went bad 3 weeks ago.
So, I had another reserve pulley that I picked up at a U-pull yard in Millerstown. I installed it, and now it is making lots of noise.
I am going to order a brand new one from Advance Auto using the discount coupons.
    Can't trust used pulleys anymore.

You know you drive a wbody when your stock bottom end can get you into the 9's, and only costs $400 to replace.

You know you drive a GP when...
I got through another winter season without having problems getting stuck on snow or ice, no accidents, and did not have any major breakdowns.
