has anyone ever tried to use their key to open another gp. my key opened 3 other grand prix's doors at my school.

I dont even have a key that unlocks my own drivers door...someone replaced it somewhere along the way.
LOL.........that would be cool
go find out........move everyones car around at school.
Not quite. There are 10 positions on the key. Five are for the locks, five are for the ignition. So, the combination for keys that will work on another vehicle is 5x4x3x2x1 = 120, or 1 out of every 120. That applies for either unlocking or the ignition, but not both. For both it would be 120x120 = 14400 to 1 odds of it being the identical key.
Just like the S10 they only made two different keys. Brandon could unlock JD's S10 but JD could start Brandons. It was strange and kinda creepy to know someone could do that! But I have never just walked up to another gp to see if I could..I will have to do this now! lol
so if you ever lock your keys inside your vehicle, just look for other GP owners.
this is a bit unnerving considering that at any point anywhere in the city i can see a grand prix
Wouldn't the Pass-Key III codes be at a different "position" in various cars thus preventing ignition? Or are those not rolling?
