My tranny is about to take a dump, and I have been looking around for Tranny's.

Would a NON-HD 4T65E work with my GTP? Or would I have to change axles...etc...

I am trying to do a tranny swap on a budget, so any and all info is appreciated.

you could swap it right over, but the gear ratio in the PCM will be wrong.

So the tranny lines could be different, and I would need to put the 3.29 tables via Tuner... anything else?

You'll need to keep the torque converter out of your HD trans. The L67 torque converter is a little larger and has different mounting holes. If memory serves, the L36 flex plate is dual drilled for either size.
