WOW my best with a Cam'd 3.2 setup is 13.8 NOT A SH***Y driver either. What gives??
A few guys at the track are tryin to call BS that Im cam'd Sorry to HI-JACK
I ran a sub 13.5 with a 3.4" and a XP setup...with a 1.9 60' foot...you just gotta know how to drive. Trapped like 101-102. Then went to a 3.2" and gained like 2 mph in the 1/4 but my 60' suffered from the increase in boost. So it was pointless.
track conditions and weather/altitude all play a factor.
the track i go to is pretty close to sea level so that helps. but dont get me wrong, last time i went the DA was 3200feet about sealevel. ALOT of things factor into your time.
those mods have the potential for 12's, but thats not to say your going to hit that. ive seen some with those same mods only go mid 13's (13.5-13.6) close to sea level. you better have a traction stratigy set up if your trying for 12's with those mods ie supension/tires
That and headers.
and screw those l76 springs. id be running 130s with those 1.95s and id run the redline to about 6400. id run it with no intercooler though. run it on e85 and run a 2.8 or so. it would tear ass.
Whose tune?
It would knock. That and you would need 65# inj. on a 2.8 with E85. I would just go with an intercooled rocker setup for now with a 3.2-3.0 pulley on 42# inj. 12's on street tires would take some nice tires and a great tune. It's about at that range that you can be assured with slicks it will hit 12's.
You need turbo. Much more achievable on turbo setup.
about 5 grand more expensive if you are doing it right.
The launch is key......Has anyone tried Nitto DR's do they actually help. They did wonders on my LS1 T/A
