New to the forum with a problem. Wifes 2000 Grand Prix, running great no issues, get into it and it won't start cranks and cranks, finally starts and starts running very rough. Making a huge whoosing noise from the air intake. I move the intake tube around car starts running fine. no cel. drive it home, go to start it up again, wont' start, same issue, cel light this time, has a mass air flow sensor code. clean mass air flow sensor, runs fine since sunday with cel light on, but running great. wife drives it home from the store today and it dies in the drive, start it up runs fine. cel light still on. Before I drop $200 on a maf sensor, do you all think this is the problem? Thanks for any help.
