just bored and nosing around EBay. Anybody ever heard of these White Lightening chips? he claims 10 to 100 HP and 8 - 48 Torque...? I can't see 100 HP, that's for sure. I heard of other car manufacturers re-learning around a chip.
    check it out here

not possible. im not even going to look at the ad and tell you its a piece of junk. if you buy it, i will laugh at you. there are no "chips" for our car. you can do a reflash with a tuner, but even then it wont be the best tune.

I'm not thinking about buying anything, just asking questions. I have SuperChips tuner for my truck and I'd go the same way with the car if I was going to do anything but thanks for the info

yeap, just trying to save ya some money.

they also dont make any type of flashing device like a supertuner for our cars. you need to get someone with a DHP Powertuner or HPTuners.

    gotcha, thanks again
    I'm learning everyday
ok, here's another one, how about XTune headers? I seen some of them on ebay too. it says the application is for a supercharged engine but does it matter if it is?

avoid them. major design flaws. literally impossible to install.

the cheapest headers you should look at are SSAC (SSAutochrome), which made a knockoff of SLP headers. they are actually pretty nice. stainless, too.

I'll vouch for the SSAC headers, look and perform great, the hardest thing is getting them to seal.

Its the slip joints that leak. Just need some bronze rtv and some nice and wide band clamps. I wish are cars where as easy as a diesel truck. Dump a **** ton of fuel and air in and make some good power with minor work.
