    I have a 2006 grand prix and it feels like there's a clunk when I'm turning... any ideas?? I bougth the car about 2 years ago and it was GM certified.. is this some thing that would be covered under there Gm certified warrenty?? sorry guys not the best speller in the world

    you would have to ask GM if it is covered by the warranty. It depends what the actual problem is. It could be something in the steering rack itself, or it could be something with the CV axles. Does it clunk while going slow, going fast, at a stop, all, a combo of these or only one of these?

    I was experiencing a clunk at low/moderate speeds through somewhat sharp turns.. When I had my rack and pinion, power steering pump, and inner/outer tie rods replaced.. it's been gone since.

    were any of you guys hearing a creaking noise when sitting still and turning the wheel?

    Dealer should cut you a break on this. I had mine replaced for 50 bucks at the dealership.

    The new shaft is made out of titanium, make sure they use the new updated part.

    I have no power steering currently, I hear all kinds of clunks
