So I know a lot of people say filters like K&N are bad because of the oil on them and they are even worse on s/c cars because they really suck the oil in. I already replaced my MAF(possibly from the drop in K&N from previous owner). So I am planning on doing the fwi and I see people using the spectre filters. Aren't they covered in oil also. Thanks

I just wonder why because from what I understand K&N and spectre both use oil and possibly could use the same recharge oil.

bad as in bad for the MAF sensors due to the oil, not bad as in they dont flow well.
