Does anyone know why when it rains my passenger side floormats are soaked? I mean sopping wet. It rained very hard and long that night though. Generally every decent rain it leaks.

I have had a passenger in the car when it was pouring out and he did not notice any leaks...

The floor is the only wet place.

    Thanks.

It rained here in Louisville, KY pretty hard for two days. I found water in the floorboard of my wife's 2000 GP GT. Went out to GM Parts Direct and ordered two water deflectors and used the writeup to install them in the wife's and my grand prixs.

For the money and time invested this weekend it was well worth it. I didn't have a problem with my 2003 GT but I figure since the shipping cost was high why not order two and make sure my car doesn't leak.

I would suggest everyone out there purchase the new permanent fix piece for their cars. Wish I had done this before spending a couple of hours cleaning and drying out the car and it's really not that expensive or hard to do.
debadged, clear corners, 20% tint, tinted tails, vibrant performance tips, red painted calipers, Fig. grills, autometer guages, PFYC 3 pod A pillar, SLP CAI, 2.5" DP, SD Hood, SD front air damn, Gen I spoiler, 17X8 Borbet Type M rims, engine upgrades soon!

Lol, i feel bad for you bud 400 views and 6 answers... ah ****. Well if i can put in my two cents i got some bad leaks. It might not pertain to what ur dealin with but who knows. When it rains i get some bad leaks from my sunroof and light buttons above the dash on the roof interior. It;s due to a sunroof leak. I know GM made the water from the sunroof to leak down through the rockers... which is also where i paid 600 bucks for new body work in regards to rust. Check your sealing and drainage. Good luck brother. Later
