We have 2 GRand Prix's. One had the common fuel gauge stuck on full 98% of the time issue and I put a new sending unit in it to fix. Now the other GP fuel gauge is acting up. It should not cost $280 to fix a fuel gauge when the issue is the simple sweep tabs that rub on the variable resistor for the float swing. Anyhow, I go to the local U- pull it and keep an eye out for Grand Prixs. I have missed 4-5 as the first dam thing pulled from a GP is the fuel sending unit/ pump. Anyhow, I walk by 50 Luminas, Bonnevilles, etc. but find they do not have the nice easy truck fllor hatch access. Anyone know of another GM car with truck access that uses the same sending unit that may just need the float are swapped or something?

00-05 Impala, 00-05 Monte Carlo, Olds Intrigue, Regal. To be safe, pull from a 3.8 non-supercharged equipped car.

Any tips on cars that have truck access panels instead of having to drop the tank?
