I've lost the two low speeds on my A/C and was wondering if this would be due to the resistor or the blower itself? My mother's GP has lost 1-3 and she wants me to fix hers after I fix mine.

More than likely its the resistor.

I'm always happier when it's the cheaper solution. Is the resistor located near the blower?

yep the resistor... it will keep losing another setting until all five are gone... thats wut happend to me!
