    I noticed the other day that my buddy took my car for a spin and i was following him to hear the difference with my dp and i noticed that it smoked out the exhaust on start up for about ten mintues and it's been doing it ever since. Any body know what could cause this???It's a 06 gt

    It is probably just condensation in the exhaust. I wouldnt worry about it unless it doesn't stop smoking.

    The smoke is white and really looks like steam on a cold morning.. but it was 85 derees out so it wasn't cold....

    uhh, how many miles? and do you have a cam and head work done...could be bad seating of the valves...or it could be a head gasket which is why i asked if head work was done which would mean the head was removed

    head gasket bad=white smoke=bad.........check your coolant level.......is it the right color and is it full?

    I't's a 06 80k and a couple of bolts on parts nothing major... but it is a special edition and the dual mufflers do not have holes in them for water to drain so i'm thinking it may be the condinsation like blown said but i'm not sure.. And the coolant level is fine but i'm still running dex-cool

    I wouldnt worry about it then.......if it is only at start up until the engine is warm then dont worry about it. If it does it all the time, you may need to look into this further........fwiw
