    i have a 01 gp se with a rebuilt 3.1L and im not swapping out the engine yet it runs fine what are some early mods i can do to increase power but are not that expensive??

    You can do a Downpipe and get a tune...IMO the 3100 isn't a good platform to tune, but neither is a D Series SOHC non-VTEC Honda...but people do it...so go for it, rock whatcha got

    3100 is not a good platform to start with at all. slow will always be slow without a ton of money.

    if i swap the 3100 for a 3800 will i have to change the transmission to
