i recently purchased a 2001 se from my mechanic who swapped in a new motor it runs fine but its not the same type of motor that was originally in does anyone know the name of of the stock motor on the 01 se so i can ask a few questions???

depends if your special edition had the l67 in it or not because you can get them both ways. is it supercharged or not?

you could get an se supercharged? I have seen them with the 3800 in the non gt model(se) but not a supercharged 3.8?? I guess I dont know $HI+.............

what type of motor is in there now? what does it say on the motor cover and/or top of the intake? Pic?

its a 3100 it was just really hard to see cause it was like worn down
