    how do you know when your timing chain needs to be changed my car has 200k + and i have no idea if it has ever been changed whats and easy way to check?

    kinda in the proses of learning right now

    You don't change them. That is timing belts you are thinking of.

    You do change the timing chains. And if your's is the original chain then it is long overdue.

    Be sure yo also get a new dampner when you change everythign out.
