    Hey.

So its getting time of the year (when home from school and working) to start modding my GTP. So, I want to do headers and intake for sure to start. I was reading another forum and it said I need a tune with headers....do i absolutely need a tune right away? They say it might hurt my performance if I dont get a tune once I do the headers....I want to do a tune eventually, once I do headers, intake, 1.9 rockers and pulley...I would want it dyno'd and tuned. But would I need to right away?

    Thanks.

you dont need a tune right away, but you wont see the whole benefits from the headers without one.

There is a good shop by me. Called DB performance and they just did my friends gtp and I feel like they did good work. He got a lot more hp.

    You live by Rogers???

Ive been to DB performance, they seem pretty legit. I got a dyno run by them.

IDK if I'd have them dyno tune it tho, thats way to much money for a tune. I would just buy a tune or get a tune from a vendor on here and slap it in your car and just get the dyno runs done by DB performance.

people all say they can tune anything but all these stupid shops do is turn up fuel and make the line pressure in your trans out the fukkin roof.....its worth finding someone who has ALOT of experience with the platform and knows what they are doing.

I live just south of the cities. I might do the PCM and then the dyno runs. thats what someone else told me to do also.
