I had a shop evacuate my freon and they tried to replace it, and it only took 7 oz of freon. So they evacuated it again, and tried to replace it again, and it still only took 7oz. And I know it needs 2.25lbs. They said something in the system may be plugged. The vents blow semi-cool, and the drivers side hardly blows cool at all. They didnt charge me for the service, and now Im wondering where these systems commonly plug up? Or is something else wrong? Thanks.

^ that is pretty hard to do being that the fittings are different. There are tons of things that could be clogged. Have the shop pull a vacum on your system then try to charge it or just have the shop try to charge it. It is easier to charge when the system is in vacum.

Thats what they did. They used the machine. They said it held vacuum, but when they tried to refill it with r134a while in vacuum, it would only take 7 oz. Hopefully I can somehow narrow down where it is clogged.
