    If i were to put a LS1 throttle body on my gtp would i need a tune or will my car run fine if i just bolt it on? I have everything set and ready to bolt on im just afraid that if i put it on it will mess up my car. Anybody have any suggestions?

    Are you using a different MAF? You will have to with the LS1. And yes, I'd be surprised if your car will even turn over with a 85mm MAF without a tune. Another thing is what mods are you running? You don't need anything that big unless you have a decent amount of work such as a big IC, headers, and cam...it's overkill.

    I'm pretty sure that the ls1 is only 78mm but yes I will be running the stock maf that came on my buddies trans am

    If you run a MAF that isn't stock (as in what came on YOUR model car) then you have to tune for it. Plain and simple.
