I'm going to need to replace the hood latch support soon (the part that the plastic grille support bolts to, on either side of the latch) cuz the lower bolt on each side that hold up that plastic support apparently are broken off in the latch support. (i've been wondering why the front hood/grille gap was so large) so im thinking it will be better/easier to just get a different hood latch support and swap it out... though the only thing that slightly worries me is getting the latch back in the same spot so that it closes/opens properly...

    any ideas or suggestions?

    kinda figured so.

though i'm contemplating drilling a few new pilot holes and just using some self tapping sheet metal screws to hold the lower half of the braket. all that piece does is support the nose/grill anywhoo, so that should be fine.

if the original holes are covered (need large washers to help clamping force anyway) shouldnt be too much of an issue. especially if it gets a shot of flat black paint
