It is just blower whine. Opening up the intake side makes you able to hear it more.

IF you got that much just go buy a HP Tuners program and learn how to DIY it.

Ok I finally have decided on a wizzaired(sp)CAI, 3" zzp DP and a good PCM. Do you guys think I will notice a gain in performence with those mods?

Don't get the wizaird. Make your own for $50...it will do as good if not better. You don't have to make it all fancy nice with roof flashing, custom tubing bends...hell just get a piece of 4" PVC pipe...a coupler, and a 22.5* bend and put a filter on it and shove it in the fender.

If you are getting a mail order PCM get an Intense...since no one seems to be going anywhere at Overkill lately from what I keep hearing...

Downpipe is good too...the money you save from not buying the wizaird and the tuner itself...get a set of new plug wires and autolite 104 spark plugs and a 180* T-stat (if you haven't done those already)...might even be able to scrimp up enough for a front powerlogged manifold...

Will a tuned pcm get rid of torque management and the top speed govenor? Also I definitely will be getting a 180tstat and autolite 104's.

i must have not read into your personality enough. you clearly dont have the skill to do a cam or intercooler setup. do simple intake and exhaust mods and be done with it.

if you cant do the work then i dont see a whole lot of reason to mod a car. that takes like 90% of the fun out of it.

It isn't that easy to just "get a cam" There is alot of work that goes along with it, even if you pay someone...they have to know how to tune the 3800 platform or it is pointless.

They charge you x amount of dollars on your bill and then give it back to you when you send back your factory pcm.
