Ive tried the search function with no success.

So, on my '99 GTX, while driving, the door chime will randomly go off without any visual indicators on the dash. Seatbelt is on, doors closed, full tank. It must have went off 50 times yesterday.
Anybody else ever had this problem? I know the quick fix would be to disable the chime, but i want to know when there is an issue. (ie low fuel, door open)

    Any ideas?

Bad ground/wire/fuse is my bet...and I know nothing about anything about electronics...if the trunk is open it'll show on the DIC.

yes it will but if your not looking at your dic then you will never see it. if the trunk is popped but not open it will not show up until you it a small bump then it will ding and by the time you look at the dic it will look normal. trust me ive been there
