    Will heads off a 97 3.8 NA fit on a 95 3.8 NA without any modification? I wasn't sure if there was a lower intake manifold difference.

    The '95's are the Series I motor and the '97 are the Series II...I think that the head pattern is different...but I know for a fact that the heads are...

    Thats why I was asking I know they are to different series, what do you mean the head pattern is different?

    actually, some of the 95/96 cars already came with a seriesII.

    a seriesI would be completely incompatible with anything from a seriesII or seriesIII, but you can interchange most parts on a seriesII and seriesIII.

    yea the 96 has a different cam though i believe. i think he already said that it was the series 1

    so whats different about the head or is it that it just wont match up with the intake?

    If we're talking about a Series II, which is very possible in 95, they would probabaly switch just fine. If we're talking about a Series I, it's really a very different engine, even the deck height was changed significantly, so it's not going to swap.
