All these places are extremely inconsistent when shopping for a new intake for my 07 GP. THIS place says it works for years 04 - 06, THAT place says it works for only 04, OTHERS say it works for all year models. I have this problem specificaly with this K&N short ram intake:
    K&N FIPK Air Intake Kit - 04-06 Grand Prix 57-3049 - PFYC

For disclaimer purposes only it CAN'T advertise "working" for years 06 and up, simply because the company had'nt tested it with those year models. However, one customer reported back saying he successfuly installed it on his 06 GP and it worked fine. My confusion comes because I have a friend with an 05 GP and everything under the hood is identical as mine (same base model engines L26 3.8 V6) Am I missing something where this intake will fit on an 05 and 06 but NOT an 07? If this bolts up to my friends maf sensor shouldn't it work just as fine with mine if they "appear" identical? Please any help or more education will help me a lot.

That doesn't answer my question though. I just want to know if it will bolt up to my 07 grand prix, if it also bolts up to an 05 and 06.

If you look at any engine bay from 2004 to 2008 they all look the same, supercharged or not. I could never in my life spend nearly $400 for a Cold Air Intake that really doesn't even work. You can get a intake from another reputable company for a lot cheaper of a price and that works MUCH better.

How can you return a car for it not having aftermarket support?

The K&N doesnt flow, the dirtier they get the worse off your engine is.

Yes it will fit, is the answer to your question.

You are better off with a DIY FWI.

    X2
Wizaired Cold Air Intake is what I'm running on my 07 GP, that K&N is a hot air intake that is way overpriced.

That's why you clean the filter regularly, any filter exposed like that will collect a mess, as far as it not flowing well I'm not sure, but I appreciate the warning if K&N makes garbage filters I'll look into it as any consumer would. I'd go for the cold air but the longer the intake line means it wont be as responsive, and i don't know how well the air filter will do by the bumper cuz i live in NJ and it rains a lot. Thanks for the posts guys.

I have the same K&N and love it, I could have found it a little cheaper on ebay, but I wanted a valid warranty so I got it at here. K&N 57-3049?od, or you can try one of the vendors on the forum here, you can usually find a good deal that way as well. This was very easy to install and I love it.

Still...$334??? That is insane. For that kind of money you can get a T-Stat, Plugs, Wires, 3" Downpipe, HV3 Upper Insert...you get the idea...I wish I could do 2 builds...and go about spending $500 on each...using DIY stuff on one and Name Brand on the other...the DIY car will blow the doors off the name brand car b/c you'll only be able to afford ONE thing. Plus since these cars respond well to intake/exhaust mods...I say make your own intake for the CHEAP...then get a shorty downpipe from ZZP and have it welded in and beat the crap out of the car with the K&N and still have money in your pocket to take the lady out to dinner
