hey, just wondering if anyone has any good tips for me, im gonna be gone for 6 months, so my car will not be getting used. i dont know if letting my wife drive it once in a while is a good idea cuz she might not be able to handle it lol. even if i dont do that, she needs to be able to use it in case her stupid neon breaks or somethin. so what would be some good stuff to do with it, seeing how no matter what happens, its gonna be hardly ever touched and sitting for long periods of time? it will be in a garage, but thats it.

ive never had to not use a car for even 3 days before, so i have no idea. do i need to add stuff to the oil or to the gas, or whatever else? any tips appreciated, thank you.

six months isn't long enough to require any special treatments, does your lawn mower start up the next season after sitting in the shed all winter?

    what year is the car?
    how many miles?
    how well does it run?

if you have any extra toys like a stereo unplug the main cable from the battery, put a air freshener inside to keep it fresh smelling, have the wife drive it around the block on a nice day and park it again a few times

if you were storing the car in a museum then yes there are major stuff that has to be done
