    my car doesnt handle deceleration properly, or engine load correctly, the AC, power steering, and when i switch on and off the headlights, at idle all of these things make my rpms plummet to 450..especially when i turn the wheel while im stationary...what is causing this? i have no vac leak btw...had one found it and its fixed, could this be my IAC i already cleaned it....or bad alt? im lost and frustrated

    btw i have no codes....only the ones from my egr and rear o2 delete...
    NO LONGER USING THIS NAME MY NEW USER IS BOOSTJUNKI3!!!!

    have the battery and alt. tested at a auto parts store. its free.

    dont think its that battery power should be plenty to keep the vehicle running at any load at least till it starts to go dead so a bad alternator woulnt cause this. a bad battery doesnt work because its only used for starting. hell, start your car, diconnect your battery and drive around town. itll work. i believe youve got an ignition problem. have advanced auto check your ignition, its free too, although its probelby a faulty crank sensor or the connections are getting crappy in the cps or ignition good luck

    one nondesisive test for the iac is to tap on the area around it with a hammer. if the idle improves replace the iac although thats not the main problem here
