I was wondering if blacking out my oem wheels would look better on my car. Its red and it has blacked out headlight covers, tint, gtp badge, and tail lights. If anyone has done this post some pics.

Yea i agree... painted stockers wont look good, just get some nice black wheels if you dont wanna spend a ton of money just try to find some black bullitts, saleen, or cobra wheels, they shouldnt be very expensive especially if you get a used set

do it!, they will look great. I think if you like it then go for it. No point in bein like every other grand prix. i did some crosslaces and am still working on getting the lips polished more.

    a) crosslaces are ugly anyway, so black ones just make it look a little better.

    b) you left the lip silver which is why most painted wheels dont look good because people dont take the time to leave the lip not black.

this is true. all painted black looks like crap. If you leave the lip, that looks 100 percent better. As for these i believe i'm selling. I'm looking for the polished 5 spokes if they are cheap enough.

This is a bad pic, but i guess you could say that they look ok, my rims were really beat up so it didnt hurt anything to paint them

IMO...sand down and polish the lip...otherwise you can keep em...the whole black thing makes them look like 5 spoke steelies...

You know what doesn't look too bad. GPF member, fst, did it. He got the Mustanf V6 5 spoke wheels and painted them black. He also has a set he painted white. They look pretty good on his car actually.

I believe he was able to find a set of V6 wheels for $50 on craigslist.
