    where can i find the engine lift support. u know the one that holds the engine in correct position while u drop the underside/cradle?????? need one cheap, just to have it.

    not even. was ~$12 iirc. i'm not counting the ratchet straps though as i had those already.

    too bad all my lift brackets arent on my motor anymore and the next time i pull the motor it is going to be harder.

    ohhhhhh, ok, glad to see there are still more crazy engineers out there! jk, ok i've got my idea, and bio , i removed my brackets too, damn where are they? just getting ready(slowly) to do more stuff, rebuilt repair clean, **** it never ends....oh well. i'm 37 and i still love this stuff...sometimes,,,,,,

    hell, id use the wood to avoid harbor freight. even wlking in that store makes me feel like im gonna break. if not the wood avoid harbor and pay a few extra bucks for a tool that wont break

    US General is a good company. And BlackGS has used that tool to hold his engine and transmission before with no issues. He's the one who recommended it to me.

    harbor freight has some decent stuff... just other stuff is crap. You get what you pay for.
