How do you clean an egr vavle?

Anyone have any advice on this, and when you do how do you get the check engine light to turn off?

When I had an EGR code, I just reset the EGR and the code went away. Make sure you try that before cleaning it.

You will need an OBD2 Code reader to clear the engine code.
