EGR delete with no tune

can i delete and block off my egr with no tune? i would like to just because egr seems like a pointless system lemme know ill get the codes deleted soon but can i run it with no tune for it for now?

youll be able to pull it off, but it is possible that youll run too much timing when youre cruising and knock a little bit. i didnt have that problem, but it is possible.

The PCM has a way of knowing if the EGR is blocked. If it is it keeps the timing at a normal level.

The only issue is you will throw a code.

i like having mine off. there is a lot more room in the engine bay with it being gone.
