I was wondering if you are supposed to use some sort of rtv/sealant when you install a UIM. I have heard of some people do this but not sure and not sure of what stuff they really used. I would think you wouldnt need it where the UIM gasket meets the UIM but maybe where the UIM gasket meets the LIM.???

I just used a new UIM gasket when I did my LIM gasket change. Worked great for the year and a half it was on there.
