i have a 06 GT and i was wondering how hard is it to do the tap shift conversion off the comp g. i can get the tranny and all the other parts... but is my harness under the dash wired up for the plugs coming off the column? what all is involved and has it been done before?

How good are you with a wrench? haha jk I dont think alot of people have tryed this kinda thing. If you really what to try it i would start off by getting the the tranny, the harness in the bay and under the dash, the ecu and the tap shift parts and maybe a SC 3800 to make it a little easier. Correct me if im wrong but from what iv found is your 06 GT is about the same as the 06 GTP comp G. Those parts should go in with out too much of a headaches, making every thing work is where it might be hard. Id like to see if this works and try it on my 2000 gtp. How cool would that be haha.

Agreed. This is not some $150,000 sport car with gold plated clutch packs and forged metal gas/brake pedals.

And this thread is 3 years old, lol.
