Im about to buy a pcm for my 98 gtp and have following mods already , K&n drop in, autolite iridium plugs, tranny cooler, and a resonator delete. Will the pcm help or hurt my car. Is it overall safe enough for my car? Im not the kind that likes top end I just like acceleration every once in a while. I plan on doing a few more small mods later such a more exhaust work. What will the pcm do for my car positively speaking. Any better acceleration? Also would it be good to go ahead and install.

You can do the PCM at any time with those mods. You'll notice a difference with the PCM for sure. Mainly on the downshifting and harder upshifts.

Intense or overkill is where you need to look.
