2000 gt blower quit working...fuses all good...help!!

If you are referring to the blower motor there are two common issues with them. First is the blower motor resistor. It will typically take out the higher fan speeds like while the lower one or two speeds will work fine. If you put it on high speed and it stops all together, its likely the blower motor resistor.
The other possibly culprit is the ignition switch. All the accessories run through the ignition switch and as a result of the load, carbon builds up on the contacts and can cause the blower motor to quit working. However, you usually find other accessories quit working before hand, like the radio or the thing wont start, etc.
If all the fuses are good and you are not having any issues with other accessories I would start with the blower motor resistor since it is the more likely culprit.
And go ahead and remove the passenger seat...unless you like tight work conditions![]()
if it just up and quit working all together (aka nothing at any speed), it probably isnt the resistor. Reason being the highest speed setting bypasses the resistor circuit alltogether (even has its own fuse). I found this out because mine just gave up as well, and I pulled the wiring diagrams at work. The best thing for diagnosis would be to grab a voltmeter or test light and see if you get power to the connector to the motor. If not then go about troubleshooting the ignition switch and hvac controls (if you need either diagram I can probably print them out and just scan them at home).
In my case, I had a small enough water leak from the cowl to kill the motor but leave the carpet dry.
yeah the fan quit working at any speed, and all accessories are working. i took care of the cowl leaking problem 6 months ago. i am hoping for the resistor problem, it's only 60 bucks at the dealer.![]()
