I have an 05 gtp with a CAI and planning on a PCM soon. I want to change the s/c pulley too, but dont want to do cams or injectors. what size would benefit me the most?

You need to do some other stuff before you are dropping pulleys. Like headers and a scan gauge. Start there. You're on the right track just need to mod a little bit further first.

A scan gauge measures all sort's of parameters. But you mainly use it for KR (knock reduction) You need to see how much of this you have so you can estimate how much of a pulley you can drop to.

I would get the autotap if you have a laptop. If you don't I would search and get a used ramchargers scanmaster. "I would not get any of these new enless you just have a lot of money. You can always find them a lot cheaper in the classifieds section.

Correct. It plugs into the OBD2 port on you're car. Sometimes scanner's that mechs have do not chow parameters such as KR but only can show DTCs that are set and stored

why does everyone instantaneously go for the blower pulley? this is not a cobra. you cant drop pullies with a tune and an intake, jesus.

    you need exhaust mods.

if youre looking to keep going faster, just skip a step and get headers. otherwise the step before that would be a 3" downpipe and a powerlog from ZZP.

yea... if you plan to go turbo one day... go PLOG... otherwise if you plan to stick with S/C got headers...

To be honest.. I went headers, bought some used TOGs (The Other Guys Headers), and if I ever decide to go Turbo and need to go back to the PLOG... it shouldn't be hard to sell the TOGs and even make close to what I paid used for them back

If I had to start from the beginning I would do headers as a first mod.

if i had to start from the beginning i would do an intercooler a first mod, then headers. with those two things and the other supporting crap (plugs, thermo, intake) you can run pretty small pullies on stock injectors.
