hey guys i was having problems with my pacesetters rubbing on the metal lines below the downpipe so i modded them using a vise to press more of the sides flat and i drilled new holes exactly the same size...no more vibrations from rubbing but i do notice with the dog bones shorter i get alot of vibration during hard acceleration....i do have flipped motor mounts and shortened dog bones combined now so is this just the engine trying to move but cant because of the decreased play? do you guys with poly mounts out there expierience vibration under heavy acceleration? i also get a lil vibe at lights lemme know so i know all is good and this is common with decreased engine movement....

the shorter dogbones in your case will cause the pacesetters to hit the firewall and/or the tunnel near the downpipe. are you lowered? if not there is no reason for you to have the dogbones.

my shorter dogbones are only 3/4" FYI.

ok figured it out turned out that shortening them caused more rubbing...put them back (left orignal holes just in case) and it went away...thanks for the input now i gotta buy new dog bones as i dont trust these drilled torn up ones.....
