Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I'm going to order an offroad downpipe tonight. There are no emissions or anything like that, that i have to pass where i live. Anywho, question is, do i need an o2 simulator if i'm not going to get my pcm reprogrammed just yet? Also, what is the cheapest place you guys know of for buying my dp? I was assuming zzp. Finally, on a scale of 1-10, how hard is it going to be for me to get it on without any leaks? Thanks!

You don't NEED an o2 sim. But usually it set's a ses light.

Just make sure you spray all the bolts down with PB blaster. It makes things a lot easier.

Usually the downpipes have no problems sealing.

thanks. it wont hurt performance? the person before me removed the ses light due to a loose gas cap. i'm guessin they thought it was something more major. I do have a spare simulator but it was for an LT1. maybe it's the same for my gp?

No problem! Nope won't hurt performance. The rear o2 is only there to make sure the cat is working properly. The front o2 sensor controls fueling.

You could always try that spare one you have. Typically if there a 4-wire o2 then it will work. But i'm unfirmiliar with those.
