Pacesetters are ok if you don't mind leaks. There good headers except where the y- pipe connects together. You'll need different clamps for sure.

The clamps will help. But they did not fix my problem. Yeah I think they do make a bigger 1 3/4 size now huh? You'll be fine with the smaller ones.

There is nothing wrong with the pacesetter's. Primary size is up to you. Get some new clamps from Sinister Drag Designs - Chicagolands new performance specialist! these clamps were designed to fix all the comon problems with the headers sealing properly (Im not sure if they have clamps available for both 1-3/4 and 1-5/8's though)

Has anyone tried expanding the pipes that go into the Y to make a better fit?

i found a deal they are 2000 deg ceramic coated and have the zzp pro kit with 1000 miles on them for 350....then ill just get SDD clamps and gaskets...you think ill be happy they are 1 3/4 primaries but ive heard gtps shouldnt have a rpoblem running these over 1 5/8 thats its more the N/A motors that need to be careful right?

FWIW you can go to napa or most anywhere local and just asked for a stepped band clamp. You need one that measures 2/ 1/2 on one end and 3'' on the other.
