i got my borla mufflers put on by monro, the exhaust tips stick out pretty decent amount. There not centered with the cut outs and the right one is rubbing against the bumper.

If the tip is really hitting your bumber they did worse than a half ass job. Tell them that. If you told them you wanted the tips flush with the body they should have done that too.

tell them that the quality of work is unacceptable. They need to either re do it the right way or give you your money back. That does not look good at all. Dont go in all pissed off, just try to explain it professionally and see what they are willing to do to make it right. Explain to them what you want it to look like. Tell them that it should be centered, not rubbing on anything and if you want them flush mounted with the rear bumper area or how far you want them sticking out. Stay calm and see what they are willing to do to make the situation right. This way you both know what you expect and what the finished product should look like.

FAIL for having a hole in the wall crap shop like Mieneke, Monroe, or Midus weld your mufflers and tips on. Should have taken it to an exhaust shop.

the tips look like they are out of the bumper the right amount, but it looks like they missed a hanger or welded it in the wrong spot. you might be able to fix it a little bit with a hose clamp around the muffler hanger itself.

X2. The place I went the guy took the same amount of time. And when he thought it looked right, he came and got me for my approval before he welded anything. Any quality place will do that. Personally, I wouldn't have left with it looking like that

It's not done you guys. They are going to fix it. The tips will however still stick out some but that's obvious since it's a longer muffler. The alignment of it will be fixed

+1 on beating in the face with muffler! I feel bad for ya bro that the best shop you have local is the Mcdonalds of auto repair. Those places are a freakin joke, overpriced, unexperienced, and won't pay enough to have any talent or techs who give a **** obviously! I'm prayin they get it right no hassle for ya!

You better not be paying any more money than you already have for it either.
