need some more info on your ride to be sure , but I have an 02 GP and I have to start on the drivers side bottom panel (3 phillips head screws) need to pull tilt steering wheel down as far as poss.
I think there is s couple screws for the main trim piece that wraps all the cock-pit area together (two at the most) the main piece will just pop out. carefully slide your fingers around it and pull it out.
for me it would take about ten mins. to change the switch in my GP. not sure of your year. Good luck and if you give more info on your ride in your post people will hit you up with an answer quicker

if it is a 97-03 model.....

you will need to gently pull out on the center piece that wraps around the radio...and you will see it will just pop right out. move your steering wheel as low as possible as stated above... and you can just pull it out of the way. be sure to disconnect the plugs going to the HUD(if you have it), fog lamp switch, head lamp switch..etc. and set aside.

now. the DIC will just pull straight out. it has the same clips as the dash cover you just pulled out. then just simply remove the connetor and replace the unit.
