"Someone" slammed the passenger door so hard, the window dropped about 3 or 4 inches. It won't roll up or down(duh). Troy looked at it today. It's not the same as our other cars. Is there some kind of tensioner? It's really cold! Help!! Has this happened to anyone before? Are we the only door slammers?haha It wasn't me.

I got a used one from ZZP shipped to me for $50... with no warranty.

Ed Morad gives you a 90 day warranty, and if my memory is correct, it was like $65.

Its not hard to replace once you remove door panel.

I have replaced 2 in my car since last year.

Have you already replaced it. If not PM me and I'll talk you through it. Not hard to do at all.

Fortunately GM was thinking ahead on the Grand Prix, my 97 Camaro RS window is stuck in the up position and it's not leaking. Too cold to drill out the rivets now. Will probably do in spring.

is the skin still attached? When those cars were new we did both repairs at the same time was real easy to disassemble with no door skin

I've got a writeup in the how to section on this, didn't have the camera with me when I did it last but hopefully that helps.
