Not sure if this is the right category but--
Why do I see so many pics of Grand Prix's missing headlights on the dragstrip?

Usually the filters are right behind the headlight. So they take them out so they can get cooler air in.

Find a rock and after launching the car, put the rock on the gas pedal and jump out. The key is to have the extra weight in front for your launch and then lose the weight after you gain traction.

ok so what your saying is when im about ready to launch i should roll down my window, climb on my hood, throw the rock at the gas pedal when the light turns green and jump off once i get some traction?

    That's genius Yo!

The filter is right behind the headlight so taking it out creates somewhat of a ram air intake.

If you have forced induction it might help, but N/A I dont think it does ****, to any car.

I gained a consistent .1 with it removed when I was NA, so i always do it now...... Then again it doesn't take much to go from a 16.5 to a 16.4
