i switched to a HAI/FWI to get more of a ram effect and still utilize both CAI and HAI its not blocked off from the engine bay and now is 100% smooth 4 inch piping...big ass difference from the first intake i posted...pulls hard for just an intake made with 25$ at home depot and powdercoat........think my results are close enough to a wizaired to save me the 200$?

11 inch k&n sits perfectly 1/2 way in and 1/2 way out of the fender...

that bend causes some restriction, so an open cone still has ya beat.

I dig it dude. I've been in the planning stages of something similar for a couple days now. I can't find an 11" K&N though where did you find yours? I'm thinking of just running a 9" AEM and making my piping just a hair longer.

i got the filter at advance auto i think it may be nine actually....witha 4" inlet...not sure its huge tho...if you make it longer the filter will pinch agaisnt the fender and get crushed this one just barely reaches and the filter is safe....
