Hi All...New to the forum and new to the GP world. I have a 2007 GP that has an irritating issue. I keep getting a "Check Left Tire Pressure" on my message center.

I am trying to reset the TPMS system as all 4 tires are inflated to the proper pressure and are not leaking. I tried following the one way where the ignition is switched to on without starting and then pressing the lock/unlock buttons on the keyfob simultaneously and I hear the horn chirp twice. I inflate the front left tire beyond the normal PSI and I hear another double chirp...I go to the front right and tried deflating the tire pressure as well as inflating it to hear another chirp, but hear nothing to continue to the rear right tire. What am I doing wrong? All I want to do is to make that warning light on the dash and instrument cluster go away... a reset.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I do not have a TPMS reset tool and don't want to take it to the dealership.

    Cheers....

    Britt

Probably the sensor itself, they have a built in battery that goes bad after a while. Any tire shop should be able to switch it out for you.

Here is one of my favorite YouTubers going through a reset procedure without a tool. Of course this assumes that none of the batteries are dead, however if they haven't been replaced before it's probably time! ("Industry standard" battery life is 5-10 years, although I seldom see one die before 10 years old)
