My GTP has been in the shop for awhile now having a ton of work done to it. At one point he scanned it and it was throwing a MAF code. My SES light was never on so I had no clue. My nechanic is nice enough to let me pay off my huge bill so I didn't want to add the MAF to it so I opted to hold off and do it myself.

I picked the car up on Tuesday and it has sat home ever since. Lastnite I took her out and as I came to a stop at a light, it stalled. It started right back up so I didn't think much of it. Now this AM I go to work and its running fine but the SES light pops on. I was meeting a friend after work who was helping my out w/installing a few mods which included a Thrasher CAI. (SES light is off now BTW) After we finished, car ran good andI gave him a ride home. When I pulled up to his house the car was acting all sorts of wierd. RPM's were jumping and dropping while the car tried to stay running then it would just die. It starts right up but runs like sh** after about 45 seconds then stalls again. I unplugged the MAF and drove it back to the shop. I think it was running better w/o the MAF but honestly, I didn't stop long enough for it to act up again.

Does this sound like a bad MAF ? Or could something have gotten messed up after the CAI was installed? There is an IAT extension..

Sounds like the MAF is bad.
