The trip computer/boost gauge on our '03 GTP started to go off and on intermittently. When it does this, I can hear clicking in the area of the parking brake (I think - I don't hear very well so it's tough to isolate sounds sometimes). Now it's getting worse - it's doing it more often and will shut off when I turn on the blower fan. It will come back on if I turn the blower speed up to 5. I googled it and the most common cause I came across with those symptoms is the ignition switch. They say it's a known issue with the W bodies. Has anyone experienced this? Is the ignition switch a good bet?

"ignition" harness is the part your looking for.

parking lights not working, heater fan speed not working right, interior lights staying on, all common things, not sure if that affects the dic, but hell it just might. they run like 50 or less on line.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

Thanks. Carparts.com had a generic one for $35 but I splurged for the Delco part at $75. Not sure if it's worth it or not, but I feel better using GM parts. On the other hand, it's the original GM part that has failed.

Yeah they had an airtex/wells part for $55 and the prices went up from there. Their price for the Delco part was pretty much the same as what I paid on Amazon when you factor in shipping. Normally I use Rock Auto for everything but it slipped my mind today. Amazon does ship quicker though.
