So, I see that some of the community have welded an O2 bung into the crossover pipe to avoid the interference issues. I'm planning to do this for my next install on an 03 GTP. Are there any practical fueling related issues with regards to only reading exhaust off of one bank?

I realized that this is only for closed-loop cruising, not WOT, but I don't want to goof the fuel economy on my daily driver.

Alternatively, does anyone have another suggestion for placement? I've read that distance from the head can be critical.

th eonly issue is you only reading one side of the engine, that being said if you just going for the standard 3.4 set up you'l be fine. if you were to cam and add more mods then have the bung welded in the dp before the cat. theres a few better places in that same area on the sd headers to re weld the bung in.

i got the o2 and wb in the dp. Shared album - MrScottydoggs - Google Photos

Alright, that's exactly what I needed. I had an O2 bung welded into the crossover, figure I can use that for the upstream narrow band, find a different location to tack in a wideband later, or use the unused upstream hole. I'm assuming that the two banks are going to read close enough. I'm also going to run the downstream narrow band in the normal spot for SD headers.

All done, o2 in crossover seems to be working just fine, no issues thus far. Thanks everyone for the feedback!
