Also, can the rear headers be installed without pulling the motor forward?
I'm sure there's some sort of a instructional out there, but there's really no need. all pulling the engine forward entails is removing both dogbone bolts and taking a ratchet strap to gently pull the engine forward. I'm sure it's possible without doing that, but you'll need to remove the dogbones for the front manifold anyways, so why not? You'll need to remove your intake if you still have stock box for room, then just remove the crossover, various engine braces and then bolts for headers and off they come! Use plenty of penetrating oil and you'll be ok. I let everything soak in it before I get started. You'll want to remove spark plugs of course. There's other things you can remove if you want to make things easier. Really isn't that bad of a job, I've done a few of them. I usually alternate between swearing and laying on the engine from up top, and using a long extension from below and swearing some more for the rear. Front is a cake walk.
Ya ive done the ratchet strap before when i did the rear valve cover gasket on my last GP. Good thing I just did my plugs and wires so I know they will come out easy. So the Speed Daddy kit comes with a DP correct?
Yes it does. Has the option for running straight pipe, or catalytic converter. I picked up a 3" high flow ss cat and strapped it in for around $50. It'll throw P0420 till you tune it out or you can use a 02 spacer (aka spark plug non-fouler drilled out).
Can I have my ZZP tuned PCM tune this code out?
You'd have to ask zzp, but I'd assume so. My car passes emissions no problem but the pcm doesn't like the readings, probably because it's flowing more exhaust. Gives the car a really nice sound too.
My state doesn't do emissions test, ill ask ZZP
