I got a 2 door 97 GTP I just got an zzp ECM off ebay but the problem is 2 to 3 years ago I had to change the harness on the blue side of the ECM for some reason so I had to rewire in another harness from 1 I got from a junk yard but today when I go to rewire and match up another harness that was on a ECM I bought 2 days ago I noticed that none of the wires are matched to the correct color on that harness I bought a couple of years ago I cant remeber what I did. So back today I take off that old harness and start wiring up the harness off the 97 GTP ECM I got 2 days ago and what I see is that there are wires with 2 - 3 same color wires so I dont know which wire go to what when wiring those together then when I got to the 2 nd part of the blue harness of the ecm end of the harness it had 2-3 wires that did not have a match to my car wiring the ecm had an hot pink wire my car had an 2nd thin solid orange wire and I put those 2 together and 2 other wires that that I cant remember cause I am at work not looking at the wires at the moment.
The car started but my rpm gauge was not working it was just slightly bouncing and switching from reverse too neutral or drive it shifts real hard not sure if this is from the ZZP ECM or my wiring of the wire harness
